Before we start please bear in mind that each cricut can be different, what works for my machine may not work for yours. Always run a test before making any projects
Visit my Cricut home page and cut out all your parts. https://design.cricut.com/landing/profile/61885f9fce8cbd26112567e4 The sections in pink are external sections and the pieces in green are all internal sections.
You will also need heavy piece stabilizer if you are making this from cotton . You will bond this to the lining section of the pouch.
What you need:
1 piece of cotton fabric for the external
1 piece of cotton fabric for the internal
1 piece of heavy weight woven stabilizer
1 No. 5 zipper 11″ inches long
2 pieces of binding 1 1/2 ” x 11″ that matches your internal fabric.
2 pieces of binding 1 1/2 ” x 4″ that matches your internal fabric.
2 2″ x 2″ fabric internal
First of all bond the stabilizer to the pouch. If you don’t add stabilizer your pouch will be really floppy and have no structure to it. Cut all the parts on you cricut I used the fabric bonded setting applied more pressure and added the rotary blade in the machine. DO NOT stabilizer the binding pieces.
Once complete this is what you will be left with.

Taking the external section and the internal section pin them wrong sides together and quilt straight lines down them. This will stitch them both together.

Taking the two side sections pull them into the clam shell sides clip into place and sew. The fabric will be external sides out. Do the same for the other side

pin binding all the way around the external of your pouch then sew into place.
Using a Number 5 zipper 11″ long. put the 2″ x 2″ tabs on both ends
Fold over the raw edges first

The wrap around the zipper on both sides evenly and stitch into place

Attach the zipper the tape is on the internal side of the fabric. dont’s sew the tabs down start a little bit after. After the main body tabs
attach the zipper to the internal side of the pouch

There is mean’t to be a gap where the zipper flops out
