Thread each needle manually. Follow your machine’s threading path, but make sure only one thread goes through the number 6 hook (if you’re using a Baby Lock Soprano). The other thread skips it.
Activate the twin needle mode. On the Baby Lock Soprano, open your settings menu, select the twin needle icon, and turn it on.

This ensures your machine automatically adjusts the stitch width and prevents needle breakage.
